Originally from Portugal, Jose moved to the United States in 2012 to join the University of Central Florida men's golf team.
Jose brings over nine years of experience in investment advisory to his work with individual clients, business owners, and non-profit organizations. Before joining Walters Strategic Advisors in 2023, he was a portfolio manager and shareholder at an area asset management firm, where he also served as Associate Vice President of Investments. He earned his master's degree from the University of Central Florida.

Jose holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration and a Master's in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Central Florida. He holds a Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative license.
He has served on the board of the Johnson Singer Foundation since 2018.
