Managing Partner

Doug has been a CPA for over 30 years. He founded Walters Strategic Advisors in 2020 to bring tax discipline directly into investment management, an area where most advisors work separately from their clients' accountants. He holds a Master's in Taxation from Villanova University and has been Managing Partner at Walters & Associates CPAs since 1999.

Jose Joia

Partner

Jose has over nine years of experience in investment advisory. Before joining Walters Strategic Advisors in 2023, he was a portfolio manager and shareholder at an area asset management firm, where he served as Associate Vice President of Investments. He works with individual clients, business owners, and non-profit organizations. Jose earned his master's degree from the University of Central Florida.
